One of their unique materials called TRENO is made from responsibly sourced eucalyptus tree fibers, recycled nylon and NZ merino wool with strict sustainability standards to protect animals, people and planet. This material uses chitosan fiber which is made from discarded crab shells and is the number two most abundant biopolymer on earth- a sustainable resource found in nature.
SweetFoam, the foam in the footwear, is made from sugarcane from Brazil and is a highly renewable resource, grows quickly and removes carbon from the environment as it grows. The TENCEL lyocell used is another sustainable source that comes from farms in South Africa. It uses 95% less water to grow than traditional cotton thereby reducing its impact on the environment.
